Trendy Wendy | Edutainment Game 

Trendy Wendy is an interactive budgeting game that teaches pre-teens about spending and saving money. Trendy Wendy loves to shop, but needs to limit her spending so she can keep a positive balance in her bank account. This edutainment app achieves this by teaching the target audience (ages 8-13) how to budget and about finances, through interactive game and character play. The user is in control of Wendy, who is given tasks to complete, while trying to stay within her budget. The tone of the app is fun, playful, and energetic, which will catch the target audience’s eye when they are searching in the app store.  The iconography, color, and character help build a story and world that will entice the user to continue to play, through incentives and rewards.
